Maybe the goofiest thread in OT since the "remember 9/11" debacle.

Calling this segregation? Unbelievable.

These people (on all teams) are competing for a million friggin bucks.....not the right to share a drinking fountain.

It's not like the "minorities" on this show (never mind that all 4 teams are equally divided in numbers per) aren't allowed to mingle with each other on/off camera.....because they will. Beyond that, and has been mentioned, they will be lumped together in a couple different tribes (whoops, is that the improper term as well?) to have to play the game beyond the 5 they start with!!


Just a bizarre subject about what amounts to....nothing more than a TV show writing a script.

Anyone freaking out that UPN/WB networks have shows with black casts for the most part? I certainly dont, so i am somewhat curious.

They did that on Fear Factor once. They had them eat cow tongue or some such, and the Vietnamese guy didn't even blink an eye during the whole thing. I think he was still hungry afterwards.

Honest to God, pig/cow tongue is in my top 10 list of favourite dishes. Prepared correctly, it's awesome!

I think it's a gross way to divide people up. Sex discrimation is hardly a problem compared to racial discrimination.

I agree. The concept may not seem horrible to some, but the reaction is what should be the concern.

In reality TV, yes, I am a reality TV whore, there are contestants that you support and ones that you want to see fail.

That's the beauty of it. There are villians and heros. See where I am going with this?...

Hoping "the Asians" or "the blacks" lose, ...well, not exactly society taking steps in the right direction.

Should people, like in the Olympics, cheer for the group that ethically represents them? In there a race pride?... "white pride".... yikes.
