It is a dull game in Las Vegas where the Knights lead 3-2 after forty minutes. The shots are15-11 in favour of the Knights.

Nice comeback by the Nucks. Let's see a few more of those down the stretch.

Flames have an 11 point lead on Vancouver and are 9 points back of a playoff spot

I get blacked out on Mammoth games, even though I live 150 miles from SLC. Had to follow game on WGN radio stream. Happy for the win, but the 'Hawk announcers were mystified at the non calls. The game in Chi on Monday was very chippy. Tonight, the 'Hawk announcers thought the refs were just pocketing the whistles on obvious calls for the first two periods. One of the 'Hawk young D-men left injured, Kaiser, didn't hear details.

I posted this in another thread a few days ago but if the Canucks go .500 the rest of the way, which might be a tall ask given their season thus far, we would have to go 2-14-1 in our remaining games to pass them for last.
So, barring an unexpected Canucks heater or an unprecedented collapse by us, absolutely nobody is catching them for last.

Not enough talk about how bad the Jets are. Only 3 points up on the Flames despite actively trying to make the playoffs. They are by far the grimmest situation in the NHL right now when you consider age of roster, prospects, and long term outlook.

Of course this is the top story on TSN, and Berube's comments.
I can't help but remember fondly Berube and the Flames vs the Ducks during the infamous brawl in 2001. Dave Lowry too flipping the puck out to let Berube out of the box and of course Iggy tuning Denny Lambert. Crazy to think it's been 25 years.
