I dont even think they have 3 years of McDavid. If they get bounced early this playoffs and miss all together next season, I could see him asking out.

Oilers acquire their third player from the 2014 Oil Kings Memorial Cup team. I hope this works out as well for them as the Griffin Reinhart and Curtis Lazar acquisitions did.

you could argue if Jarry is even an upgrade over Skinner (I'm skeptical) ... but giving up a solid defenseman in Kulak and a 2nd is brutal.

solid GMing by Dubas. Jarry was on waivers at some point last year, right? Getting a 2nd as well as a solid defenseman and a backup goalie for him is neat work.

At best, seems like a small upgrade in net, but a downgrade at D.
