Why the did that bother taking a shot on the powerplay? That’s what lead to the puck being in their own zone in the first place? They had full control and they were moving the puck around well without getting close to losing the puck. Then they tried a low percentage shot from the point that ended up being a clear. Could have killed time with puck possession and left the oilers with only 20 seconds of even strength time. Brutal.
