The thing that absolutely upset me the most about this game was the SportsNet awkwardly located super-wide-angle-see-nothing camera they insisted on using for the power plays.

this was likely their toughest game to play this season with the back to back and long travel

lost by one goal, backup was actually good

Mastadons would’ve been a better name than Mammoth.

Funny how the rest of the players don’t get the same standard. The team is averaging less than 2 GF per game.

I think there are a number of other players that should be turfed before Cooley is.
I didn’t listen to it, sounds like some really drunken bad takes.

Cooley was .935 with some good saves. He was the one slam dunk positive the whole night.

I think the point goriders is making is some skaters are getting off easy, despite their terrible starts. And I'd agree - Zary has been ineffective, Kadri awful and Sharangovich, despite being paid 5 million, is looking replacement level or worse.

Someone has to play 4C and that is Kirkland for the time being, he is not taking a roster spot from Gridin.

Even after more than a decade watching the game, I struggle to see the puck. But that angle in the Sisterwives State was so bad lol.

It was the context of your post and not the content, we all know why you wrote that post the way you did. Maybe you should be in the dressing room, I’m sure you could relieve some of the tension.

Im loving the new cynical badass persona you’ve adopted, does it come with a leather jacket and wallet chain?

Cooley sucked. 0 goals 0 assists. How are we suppose to win?

31st place right now. Trade Andersson and Kadri to maintain that position.

Kadri just doesn’t make sense to trade in my opinion until the summer at the earliest. He has a full NMC but on July 1 it becomes a 13 team no trade list.

This season should be about Anderson and Coleman as the veteran assets they need to maximize the value on

I’m having a great time, watching you try and find any positive spin for the flames is pretty funny. It’s one of those “I’m embarrassed for you in a humorous way” moments to me. You’re doing wonderful, please keep it up.

I think trying to find the positive spin on things is a good thing.
So yes I will keep it up. Thank you.

I'm not bothered...the bottom is where this team belongs - we overachieved last season.

Anything better than mid. I hope this season results in us committing to the rebuild by dealing Anderson, Coleman, and Kadri. The team has a tonne of depth, an elite goalie, but we are sorely missing game breakers. If bottoming out for 2 seasons is necessary - I will still support them.

This team could be a contender if they have a lineup like this in 3 seasons:
Elite? - Elite? - Coronato
Potter - Reschny - Gridin
Honzek - Frost - Battaglia
Basha - Backlund - Pospisil

Bahl - Parekh
Weegar - Bruz
Jamieson - Mews

Wolf

[edit: forgot Huberdeau & Sharangovich...or did I?]

He’s one of the few who could actually get a goal or assist. Who wants that?

Sharangovich face palm. Are we going to have to wait till game 65 with him again??
Huberdeau is not the worst contract on the team. Sharangovich is.

Farabee not far behind. But at least he adds some value.
