I'm honestly quite indifferent about this, I don't hate nor love Huska as a coach but he's done just fine with what he has been given in terms of talent.
Would I like to see more offense out of his system? Yes, but let's get some more players who can allow that to happen.

Draft Pick
|
Still early , but any of those that were happy about this changed their minds yet?
has been some very painful hockey to watch so far this year

If the goal is to draft a number one centre then tank commander Huska is fine for now.

I think he coaches a very boring style of hockey. But if we are trying to sneak out wins with the lack of talent on the team, he's the best fit for that I guess.
I hate his style personally. I'd much rather lose high scoring games.

Gaudreau, Lindholm, and Tkachuk were also called out by Sutter for not playing the system and being more worried about padding stats. That was a line that basically said F this when it came to Sutter's system.

This is a bad team that overachieved last year there was no way they thought they were giving up their own 1st to Montreal. Wolf was unreal last year, the team played with confidence and got some bounces. I am not surprised by these results and this team needs another high pick or two before building up.

In his system? Nobody. Alex Ovechkin his his prime would have a hard time scoring goals.

And bless their rebellious hearts because they made Sutter 2.0 watchable (and somewhat successful that one year).

LOL! Yeah totally, just a bunch of goal scorers stuck with low stat lines due to coaching.

Oh there's going to be a lot of high scoring games, probably.
