Kerins is overdue for a second nhl stint.

Make space already!

"Always earned, never given" appears to be this kid's tagline. :/

Prosvetov was very good, but every time I watch him I'm just astounded at how small a 6'5" goalie can look.

Maybe its long legs, short body. When he is in the butterfly that could make him look smaller if true.

Matvei Gridin scores in OT Shootout as the Wrangs defeat Abbotsford 2-1. Prosvetov with the win. Daniil Miromanov also scored.

Good for Prosvetov, perhaps he's figuring things out. 3-1-1-1, with a 2.94 GAA, and a .907 SV%.

Gridin got 1a on Miro's goal, he's tied for 18th in AHL scoring, with 6gp/3g/5a/8pts,+3, 2 PIM.

Gridin just looks so smooth out there. The kid has the "it" factor.

Wranglers played a great game last night. Some thoughts:

Kerins deserves a long look with the big club. Smaller guy who plays a bigger game. Constantly amazes me how balanced he is. He's damn near impossible to knock off the puck. Really effective in the corner battles and puck retrieval. If i had one word to describe Kerins it would be tenacious. I'm not sure thats a quality most fans are aware he has.

Prosvetov had a great game. Probably his best with the org so far. Improving every game which is good to see.

Gridin no suprise is just so dynamic. His offensive instincts are just heads and tails above everyone. This might be the most talented player I've ever seen play for our farm team aside from Wolf. Kid is going to be a stud.

Poirer has been very solid this season. Might even be putting himself back into the convo for a call up.
He's added some grit to his game. He's often been guilty of trying to do too much before. So far he's cut down on the needless bonehead high risk plays that has cost him so frequently in the past.
There is no doubting his skill when the puck is on his stick in the o-zone. The decision making however has always been suspect and frankly very frustrating to watch. I'm glad to see him actually taking a step this year.
