Solid period. Controlled the play, though Wild had a lot of shot attempts, and a post.
Not sure they can keep up that pace, but that's ok. Need just not to lose the focus they did two nights ago.

Sharangovich has thrown more hits the last two weeks than he did the preceding six months

That is why I didn't want Zayne in tonight.

Way less timid. It's good to see. Sometimes people get timid after an injury.

My game plan for the rest of the game:
Dominate the second.
Crush MIN hopes in the third
Shake hands with MAF
Beers and joy.

Would you even go so far as to say excellent coaching to have them prepared and ready to go?

Desperate times, desperate measures. That, plus maybe getting fully recovered finally from a nagging injury? Noting he's taking more shots too.
Still time this season to salvage it, but also keen to see how he does next season too.

Excellent first period. Relentless forecheck. Solid in defence. Go Flames!

Accidentally caught some of the Oilers broadcast and almost barfed. Stauffer, Principe, the circle jerk, ew.

Noticed that Farabee was demoted to 4L midway through the period. Pospisil now with Frost and Sharangovich.

It was good they were ready to go, I don't know how they couldn't be.Just think if they were more prepared to start every game instead of a lose and you're out game, probably are not in such a precarious position. They dominated that period possession wise and scored 1 goal. The system is still absolute crap given this rosters makeup.

Parekh is "probably going to fail" if they play him now. Alrighty

Francis saying "no upside" to inserting Parekh into the lineup is just lunacy. Sure, I'll admit there's arguments either way, though I'm definitely in the play him camp. But you'd have to know nothing about hockey to say there's "no upside" to play him.
