Remove the enter or space bar from a keyboard. For even more fun, just swap some keys around on it. Swap the comma with the period, or some lesser used letters with each other as that will take a longer time to figure out.

Wasn’t a poster convinced someone broke into his house, stood in the sink and left a grocery bag in the shower? Or something along those lines.

I’m 100% positive that was Calgaryblood and it’s still one of the funniest things I’ve read on this site. I think he even called the cops.

That little washer in the end of the garden hose that stops it from leaking.

I put a custom autocorrect into a colleague's computer once.

It changed our bosses name to something slightly scatalogical with a similar spelling. It was glorious.

Hah I changed an old coworkers email signature to say “Tickle Technologist”. It took 6 months to get changed.

Back in the days of Windows 95 I changed a coworkers email notification sound from a brief chime to Stairway to Heaven. Did something similar to the boot up sequence, don't recall what song but it was wonderfully long.

Yeah, our boss thought it was funny.

Edited to add: i knew he would think it was funny - if there was a chance my co-worker was going to get fired or something I wouldn't have done it.

Not once but twice ! And it's not just like some random universal remote was good enough to replace it with either. It's a super specific one for a region specific sold tv too.
