The league needs to address OT, Vancouver skating around in the Neutral zone, not even trying to enter the zone for a minute and a half.
The refs should call a delay of game penalty.
Pretty sure the KHL was trying out a rule where a team couldn’t carry or pass the puck back across center ice if they enter the offensive zone in overtime. If they did, it was a delay of game penalty. Not sure how it’s it worked.
OT exposes the utter lack of offensive IQ because more than the forwards, our best D are just not good enough. Anderson or Weegar absolutely can't carry 3 on 3 play properly. Hopefully with Parekh we at least have the solution for that to look forward to.
I think andersson can. But weegar is waaaaaaay to slow for 3 on 3.
It looks pretty bad in the first angle here but I can't find another replay.
Yeah don't like it. Don't like any shots to the head like that.
I doubt anything comes of it, though in my opinion stuff like that should be treated more seriously.
Parekh cannot get here fast enough to save our crap OT
Some of the other young guys have great speed too like Basha, who are our other speedsters Sandman?
Way to passive in the third and in OT. To the point we were actually keeping two men behind the blue line in OT. We have success when we outwork the other team, and the Canucks have too much skill to gift that much time and space.

I think this team doesn't play its potential. Wolf is covering lots of mistakes. The 4 lines are playing on and off. Can't score when we needed, can't shut down when we are winning.

I think it's a bad team with almost zero offense that is overachieving largely due to Wolf and an underrated defense/system.
I'm shocked they are doing as well as they are this year. No elite offensive talent anywhere on this team (unless Huberdeau is playing as well as he can). Tough way to win.

A lot of it is a matter of perception. Certain guys look worse when they're running cold than others. But it's less a Sharangovich problem and more of a Flames offence problem.

Terrible loss (but at least a point!), but Huberdeau is such a great redemption story this season. What confidence he has. When he stepped onto the ice for his shootout attempt, I knew that puck was going to go in, and he knew it too - just a confident shoot-out attempt there.
It was better than losing in regulation. Onto the next.
Incredible player, love seeing Huberdeau get some redemption after the trade over here and subsequent downfall. Good time to remind anyone that wants a Flames jersey and doesn't know:
SVP sports has the best quality Adidas Prime green authentic home jersey from the last few seasons (the one that retailed for $209 - $249 without a name and number) with Huberdeau for $99 still. They have size 50, 52 and 54 left now. Incredible deal for that quality of jersey. Can confirm from buying the Monahan one before it sold out this is the real deal.

He's not shooting the same way he did last year. He doesn't have the same swagger.
It might be the late start to the year and he will rebound next year but he looks off this year.
Shooting almost 19% which will clearly regress to mean
He hasn’t been as bad , and I guess I don’t hate him as much , but he’s the epitome of why this team is last in scoring that were exited by this stat line

Definitely, he's way more hesitant with the puck and I feel like it's probably a combination of a lack of confidence and him potentially being coached to play more conservatively. In any event, I think focusing exclusively on him is letting a bunch of other guys off the hook.
