Right now that pairing is getting worked five on five. They have horrific event counts against.
I thought maybe they were just pinned on the ice with a struggling fourth line but Solovyov's minutes by forward on the ice show the Kadri and Backlund line as 1 and 2 in his shares, and only 5 minutes total with Rooney.
I like the kid, but I think he'll do better taking Bean's spot for a go with Bahl comes back.
He may need some sheltering.

Something to consider...it's not Solovyov's fault. Andersson has been out of position a LOT lately, and last night it was pretty bad at times. Some of that is his forwards not helping when he pinches, but a few times it was squarely on him. Solo seemed to be in the right spots pretty regularly, but I thought he was still adjusting to the NHL pace (a normal issue for a guy called up from the AHL).
