There is no rush, that's true. But I think there is a need to communicate to the organization that there is a longer term focus, and a desire to start playing the kids more. They need to #### or get off the pot. And by keeping everyone, they are doing neither, just wallowing in this hope that maybe this season can somehow remain magical (it can't).

Make the decision. Move forward, and send the necessary message to the team and the organization. And the fans.

Some get a little too fussed about lines I think. The team shipped out two people that often ate popcorn for two that won’t at least in this year. Plus Zary is back. There will be experiments.

As for strategy, in my tech days I would remind teams that some companies say all the things they want to do (google) and it may or may not happen. Others declare nothing until it’s done (apple). Both are valid strategies. The flames seem to be the latter. You learn little from what they say and lots from what they do. Is it right? I don’t know. It’s not uncommon though.
