It's too bad, Kevin hurt his shoulder on the first day right out of the gates then managed to have a solid episode after that so I thought he'd be hanging around for a long time. But things change quickly and all of a sudden he's gone. My luck in this pool the last few years has been pretty terrible, hopefully Star can go on a long run for me so I at least have someone to cheer for.

Cedrick dumb. No way keeping Sai does anything for tribal unity. Oh, she said she would work on it, when 10 minutes before they both agreed they could never work together. She was fighting for her life, of course she's gonna say whatever. That's gonna burn him because his only actual ally at merges is her, while Mary will find another group. Had he kept Justin, the 3 of them could have at least tried to be a voting block to someone. And now Sai doesn't trust him, so he's vulnerable to be back stabbed, too. Cedrick gonna regret that.

Pizzeria manager Justin felt he had all the ingredients to make a deep (dish) run at the endgame. He was able to obscure an Ivy League education and a history of law behind a down-to-earth long-haired persona, something that quickly got him in with the majority of his tribe.
Amidst all the interpersonal chaos around him, Justin easily found himself in one of the safest positions on the tribe. In fact, he was able to flip things on its head when, after Kevin came to him planning to turn on Sai, he subsequently turned the alliance back onto him. Unfortunately, the longer his game cooked, the more misshapen it got. After losing yet another challenge, Justin was sent on a journey, where he lost his vote in a game of chance. And when easy target Mary successfully played her Shot in the Dark, it kicked off a wild series of votes that all ended with the same outcome: A tie between Sai and Justin. Cedrek, Justin's number one ally, had kept him safe throughout this Tribal Council. But after a passionate argument from Sai, and a promise to make it work with Mary, Justin was bit in the rear by the colorectal surgeon, sent out in one of the most chaotic votes in the show's history.
Justin voted out by a stupid Cedrik mistake in a chaotic tribal and gives trackercowe and Barnes their first hit!

The first few episodes are always funny to watch. The weaker players expose themselves pretty quickly, and there's always 1 disaster tribe getting picked apart.
Mary is the best player on the green tribe by far but its a pretty low bar. Justin was useless. Cedrick appears smart but makes weird decisions under pressure apparently. Sai is too chaotic and blunt.

Having Mary as my last remaining pick has been a wild ride the last couple weeks...how am I alive!
As for Cedrick yeah dumb move but Pizza boy could have actually fought for himself a bit, he basically convinced Cedrick to send him packing. Looks like a tribe swap anyway, which he also should have saw coming they aren't going to keep a tribe of 3 long.

Apparently at a watch party Cedrek said tribal took 2 hours so the edit didn't do Justin any favors.

I'm only still in the pool because of a lucky shot in the dark! Not exactly an auspicious start to the game for me. I don't hate Mary as a player though, so maybe she can find some allies after tribe swap and make a run.

Holy what a brutal week for me in the pools. I find myself really cheering for Eva what a story it would be for her to make it far in this game.
Don't really mind this season so far but i really wish they'd cut out the whole 3 tribe thing.

Through 9 days, Thomas was in, as he described, "the best-case scenario on the worst-place beach." Despite Lagi enjoying a week of complete safety, the music executive was working hard in the metaphoric Survivor studio. He had the "California Girls" alliance with Joe and Shauhin, a tight number one in Bianca, and was eyeballing a big move to utilize the tribe's outsider Star. Not to mention, he had acquired a Steal-a-Vote from the journey, something he kept secret from friend and foe.
With Kamilla and Kyle facing a tight three-person majority, they had to make full use of everything they had in their pockets. Kyle used Kamilla's extra vote, giving the two of them three votes against Thomas. Kyle then played the idol he found on Civa's beach, negating the other three votes against him. Additionally, with Thomas getting voted out, his unused Steal-a-Vote advantage goes out of the game with him.
Thomas voted out giving jg13 their first hit and eliminating trackercowe!

Can't help but feel Thomas totally botched that one. He should have told Joe/Shauhin about his extra vote and then they could have split the votes in case one of Kyle/Kamilla played an idol.
Vote could have been 2 on Kyle, 2 on Kamilla, 2 on Thomas. On the re-vote, it's 3-1 on Kamilla and she goes home.

Kyle and Kamilla had 3 votes between them didn't they? Kamilla had the extra vote plus Kyle's.

Kyle and Kamilla with some of the best survivor play we’ve seen from the American version in years. I’m impressed with those two.

That was some real Survivor there, hat goes off to them.
Nice to see someone cut a throat instead of talking about how much they love each other after 9 days.

Bad move trusting Cedric for Bianca...or anyone else for that matter that guy doesn't have a clue.

I was thinking that Cedric has to be one of the dumbest Survivor contestants in quite some time.

Well, kiddos, it finally happened. We broke Jeff. He’s like a windup doll. He can only say so many things: “Come on in,” “That is how you do it on Survivor,” “Dig deep,” “I got nothing for ya,” and, of course, “Balls.” At the immunity challenge, he surely said all of those things at least once (and as with any challenge, there was more talk about balls than at a live lottery drawing or gay-porn rehearsal), but then Jeff started to cry. The first time ever! It’s my usual default mode to make fun of Jeff or to tell him how wrong he is, but not this time. I was sobbing too, my friend. (My friend is you, dear reader. Not Jeff.)
What happened with the vote floored me, but not in a good way. We have a tribal where everyone talks about how Bianca is either the easy vote because she’s the only one without a partner, or she’s the swing vote, choosing between two sides, but she’s kind of neither because she has no vote of her own. When Jeff reads the votes, it’s one for Sai, one for Chrissy, and two for Bianca, who is eliminated.
What the …??? This is the kind of Survivor move that I hate, because it is an unexpected blindside, yes, but we missed who flipped and why. The shock of it happening is upended by the audience being totally confused. As Bianca is walking toward Jeff, whose eyes are still a little puffy with tears, Chrissy points out to a stunned Sai that there were only four votes, that Bianca lost her vote. Mitch, who voted for Sai, also seems to not know what is going on.
It’s a little hard for us to figure out, too. It seems like Cedrek told Chrissy that Bianca lost her vote, and those two decided to vote her out together. Sai was clearly not told, and maybe Mitch wasn’t either. Maybe they had Mitch still vote for Sai in case Bianca was playing some diabolical game and had an immunity idol, too, and then at least it would have been a tie between Chrissy and Sai, and on the revote, they could have gone with Sai. We have no idea because we haven’t seen any of it, not even a hint that Cedrek would have talked to Chrissy and/or Mitch and what might have motivated his switch against Bianca.
What we do know is that Cedrek is messier than a dorm bathroom after Taco Tuesday. Now Sai will really not trust him because not only did he vote for her, but he further alienated her by not telling her that Bianca lost her vote. He voted out Bianca, who was so willing to work with him that he is the only one she told about losing the vote. He’s left with Chrissy and Mitch, who have little allegiance to him. I can’t wait for Cedrek to go, and I just know that Jeff won’t shed a tear as he sends him packing.
Bianca voted out eliminating surferguy!
