Abbott calls the basics fine, but he definitely misses most big hits or when a player is mad about something specific.
Hrudey doesn't generally help fill in the gaps either, but SNET also tends to cram in extra commercials when they could be showing a couple interesting replays.
All in all, a very uninteresting broadcast now.

I noticed Abbott (still?) does lacrosse on TSN, based on the TSN commercials I've seen the last days.
That's a different and slower pace and different set of dynamics to call, which makes a bit more sense as to some of the things going on with his style.
