Leslie is great when he's able to go off script. The post period interviews usually though are cringey and cliched and leading questions, as most are.
"You guys got out to a good start that period and got rewarded with a goal...how important is it for this team to get the first goal?
Yes we were extremely fortunate with Ball. Abbott is fine and better than a lot, but just had some awkward moments and a lot of dead air.
Singh I though I heard doing and early HNIc game a month ago? Maybe he's back doing the broadcasts on Omni?

Bit unlucky there, Huberdeau's stick was knocked out of his hands and it's what allowed Pietrangelo to beat him up the ice and be wide open

Huberdeau dropping his stick in the defensive zone was the issue. His guy was the one that passed to Pieterangelos and the guy that was supposed to be covering Pieterangelo had to cover that guy, and covered neither.

Is that the same Olaffson that was on Buffalo?

Still doesn’t happen if Weegar kept control of the puck off the nice pass from Huberdeau. It rolls off his stick and the play goes back quickly (with Huberdeau having his stick knocked away to boot).

I hate the thought, but good grief Andersson would make a hell of a Golden Knight and would (I think) get them their 2nd Stanley Cup.

Kadri line vs the Eichel line is not a good match up for us...
Coming into the game with a second half of back to back with travel I would have probably taken 1-0 going into the third, just go win the third now

If his stick was knocked away, that’s supposed to be an interference penalty.

No doubt in my mind, Samsonov is getting a shutout tonight.

Kind of accidentally, his stick was caught up in a Knights player body think and it kind of got away from him and slid against the boards when he tried to pick
It up.
Unlucky for sure

He was so vital to Seattle's success they let him go for absolutely nothing. Though they did recently trade for him again, for future considerations.
