Lets not forget...this Flames team was supposed to suck. Like 'Young Guns' suck. What the hell guys? We sold everyone!

Flames looked awesome tonight. No passengers, nice to see.

Gonna need that kinda effort against the 2nd in the league Minnesota Wild on Saturday who are totally rolling…

Maybe Montreal gets the Florida pick after all… because we finish higher than them!

I’d say we aren’t a 100 point home ice contender team, but we are a “fight for wildcard and surprise people in playoffs” team.
The hot start in the first 6 was pretty much fully offset by the 4 game losing streak.

If you look at 10 game segments:

First 10: 5-4-1, 50.0% xGF
Second 10: 6-2-2, 51.6% xGF

The last 10 games is a hotter streak than the first 10 games was at this point.

We are if our vet forwards can get off their asses. Easily.

We have a goalie.

They're getting pick #31.

Ya #### the first. Going from mid teens to mid 20s is fine if we get continued development from the young guys.

Zary's just going to have to be a center.

Amazing attention to detail defensively, several great sticks tonight

And despite Shesterkin playing lights out, 3 deadly snipes

I fully admit I did not see Wolf being this good this quickly. Last year he was getting beat up high often (yes, small sample size). I just assumed this entire season would be a learning curve for him, the goaltending would be the weakest link of the team, and the Flames would have a top 10, maybe top 5 pick.

It's still early, but I'm pretty glad I was out to lunch on that one. He looks fantastic.

It would be absolutely delicious if the Habs wound up with their choice of the 31st and 32nd picks, because the Flames somehow got to the SCF against Florida.

Not true. Flames lost to the Rangers last year in October 3-1. I was there and it was one of the worst Flames games I've watched in person.

We are not supposed to be good! Everyone picked us as a bottom 3 team!
