We'll see. Wolf is going to be analyzed to death by opposing teams. Goalie tendencies and weaknesses are picked up quickly.

He has a tendency to read plays and anticipate very well

Seriously, two goals in his last 3 and one was a 99% amazing blocker save, 1% technically over the line

He has cleaned up some overplays from earlier in the season

Always starts on time. His edges and recovery are elite

As long as they play decent in front of him, he will take care of the rest

I’m impressed

Wolf has been an MVP-level star at every single level he's ever played. Teams are going to have a chance to analyze him but he's looking a hell of a lot like Shesterkin did when he first came into the league. Teams haven't really figured that guy out yet.

The way he's going the last few games they won't have any tape on how to beat him either.

Obviously it's really early, but I am getting Jonathan Quick vibes from Wolf.

I'm not even kidding when I say that he might be one of the fastest goalies I have ever seen. At moving side to side.

Wolf deserves it so far, but going to be hard to beat Celebrini and Michkov due to the big NHL hype on those two players. Just go to NHL.com- numerous Celebrini articles. Plus if they continue the 1A/1B approach for flames starters he'll get less games in. Doing what Wolf is doing behind a weak team is Calder material, but undeservedly it's a tougher road for a goalie. Though if Wolf was on an eastern team I'm sure we'd hear more..

Ok, Vezina and Conn Smythe to Wolf, Calder to Michkov /Celebrini

Bedsy won with one off league worst +/-, by far worst on his team

If Wolf wins the Vezina, the Calder is obviously his.

7th round pick, always felt like a 1st rounder.

I still remember that draft looking at his stats after the Flames picked him wondering how he fell that far even with his lack of size. It's kind of like the Gaudreau pick where teams dismissed the player due to his height. Heck even the Flames passed on him for six rounds.

It's simply the odds.

Few goalies under 6' makes the NHL any more. If Calgary truly believed in him, they would have drafted him sooner. The Flames were simply less dumb than the other 31 teams. I do think they started believing in him along the way. Good on them.

There was a run on gamble goalies in the 6th and 7th round as well. He was the last. I know some here were clamouring for him since the 3rd round.

The obsession with height in goalies the last decade has been insane. Wolf is 6 feet, not 5'4

7-2-1, 7th in GAA, 3rd in SV%. On THIS team. Absolutely if he keeps this up and plays 50+ games he should be in the conversation for both.

It should also be mentioned that Wolf is tied for 1st among all goalies in assists, and tied for 2nd amongst all goalies in goals.

Wolf is also tied with Calder hopeful Celebrini in assists.
