Have to mention Kirkland tonight coming off the bench to fight the big kid Helenius, and he did well.

Huberdeau's best game of the season IMO. He was all around it tonight in every zone. Every player I felt played well, but I really want to mention Huberdeau here.
Yes, Huby looked very engaged. Was full of energy, focused, hard on the puck, and had a shoot first mentality.

His best game. That assist on Huberdeau’s goal was awesome.

you'd have to really nitpick to say something negative about this game - everyone contributed.

also so much better quality from Prime.

Well done. Deserved the 2 points. Wolf was incredible!

Wolf with a legit assist too on a nice play not just a save or a bounce

It feels like the pacific division is Vegas and a bunch of inconsistent subpar teams.

My nitpick is that I can’t sign into sportsnet on prime through my cable anymore

It was as conclusive as McDavid’s name being mentioned. The line is visible at the post. Directly below the crossbar. Clearly a goal.

He is noticeable well he was tonight. Just not in a good way.

La telegraphs everything they will do. Cross ice pass or drop pass for a o e timer. After that it’s like they have no clue.

They are good at defending and have good sticks. The flames did a good job fighting through that and getting some good chances. Zary is about to pop.

The post covers the goal line. The puck was behind the post. It was a goal unfortunately.

I see no downside to trying Zary at centre. Why not see if the guy they drafted in the first round can play it at the NHL level?

I had a similar thought before remembering that he's only 22.

The flames put on a clinic on breakouts tonight. Quick collection of the puck on the boards and played immediately to the middle to a full stride centerman. Did that over and over again with precision. Centres weren’t slowing down waiting for the puck and weren’t having to battle for chipped pucks off the wall outside the zone. Just beautiful.

League is full of poo
I could see space between the puck and the crossbar. It was a good goal, but, my god, Wolf was THIS CLOSE to making that absolutely spectacular save.

There was a view the league had that the Prime broadcast didn't show.

To me it wasn't 100% conclusive on the overhead but the view the NHL put on their website was conclusiv
