5-0-1. For a team that is expected to be a bottom 5 team. Be happy people!
Best start in franchise history

Better than Lanny's teams
Better than Iggy's teams
Better than Tkachuk's teams

Makes me wonder if some people will ever enjoy anything

They are a .917 hockey club! imagine trashing them because they are down by a goal to Crosby and the boys in the 3rd lol

Apologies if this one has already been posted. But this is one of the all-time great Flames gifs IMO, and a win like this deserves it. Full marks to whoever made this by the way. So good, lol.

Weird amount of focusing on negatives after a fun win. Thought the Flames were as excellent to start the game as they struggled in that one stretch of the third.

Not sure what people expect when they have the second lowest payroll in the league?

Anyways, Wolf was really good outside of that second goal and I thought Zary was very dangerous all night. Nedelkjovic has his number in this one.

Shout outs:
-Kuzmenko was really battling for pucks tonight
-Mantha's goal in the shootout was so nice and so clutch
-Miromanov was way more effective and noticeable
-Kirkland deserves to keep his spot

Kirkland is such a great story. Love it!

Found it odd that we didn’t see much of Kuzy in OT.

Did he only have the one short shift where he tipped Crosby’s shot?

You’re not alone

He’s the team’s top choice to be stranded with on a desert island (maybe along with Lombo)

Before the season one of the things I figured would need to happen is an out of nowhere player would need to have a really hot 30 game stretch like Josh Jooris did at the start of 2014 if this team was going to surprise. Kirkland might just be that player.

Whew, Great night! There was a hilarious 2 or 3 minute stretch right when the Flames won, then I switched the channel before anyone could ruin anything to the other paused game and then the Oilers lost like right then! It was extra funny because I bet the Oilers actually thought they had a chance to win! HAHA!!!
