Goalies genuinely are the weirdest people.
The bassists of the sports world.

Some serious Eddie Lack vibes.

Crazy to see all of the competition in camp. Going to be some hard decisions. But that’s what you want.

Have you heard him speak? He sounds freakishly like Kipper.

Love Cooley. He has that California dude vibe about him.

You can tell he was really in the moment tonight.

Just watched the highlights. Wow. Cooley was absolutely amazing. 1 goal wasnt even his fault as it went off our d skate .

He was velcro. No bad rebounds, blocker and stick saves away from the net and guys let him see pucks until Connor used Raz has a screen for a goal but then Cooley Shut him down with a 10 beller!
Like his poise, post to post, puck tracking and too see him make poor Cory Perry look like a fool his is was great.

Holy cow did Coranato look like Mike Cammalleri. The hard work with Fujita has paid off. His shot and deft passing skills are off the charts .

I'm thinking he pops 30 this year.

Back on topic . Cooley looks real good

I don’t see it that way. I see him as projecting more confidence than Eddie Lack

Put his choice of words in context of his personality and it makes sense

This looks like a really good time for the organization in terms of goaltending depth. I can get behind all of Wolf, Vladar, Cooley and Ignatjew. Very execution and too bad only two guys really can be on the big club

Not sure how you send Coronato down. I think Pelletier’s days are numbered because I don’t think Rooney or Hunt are going down either.

I think it’s Duehr or Pelletier.

Huberdeau, Kadri, Sharangovich, Kuzmenko, Backlund, Coleman, Mantha, Zary, Pospisil, Lomberg - 10 guys are automatic. That leaves 4 from these 6:

Rooney, Coronato, Pelletier, Hunt, Duehr, Klapka

There is only room for 1 of Klapka or Duehr - not both. So 3 spots for the other 4. Even if you prefer Hunt over Pelletier, he's 28 and a UFA - you don't put Pelletier on waivers in order to keep Hunt in the pressbox.

I think it's Rooney, Coronato, Pelletier and either Duehr or Klapka

Someone in the top 9 has to go for Coronato to stay. It's a waste playing him with 4th liners, and 8-10 minutes a game. He needs to play. So who goes.

Looks like Zary has cemented himself with Backlund and Coleman.

Well it’s not going to be Sharky, Kuzmenko, Huberdeau, or Mantha, since it seems pretty obvious they want him and Huby together.

If Pospisil looks as good at C as he hinted at playing with Slovakia, I don’t see the obvious answer

Someone will be gone by the trade deadline - I don't see a problem with him on the 4th line for half a season while he works on his 200 ft game.

And there are always injuries. I don't think it's a problem.

Lomberg - Pospisil - Coronato is a hell of a 4th line

The top 6 is pretty much, until the deadline or a bit before. Zary has pretty much cemented himself a spot on the team as well.

He may just have to go down and play a bunch and score, and get called up for a injury or once the trades start happening.
