Lightening is the quoted source.

The old Anglican church, maybe? There's a Pentecostal church just off the main area there - my dad got invited to pastor it back in the late 70s/early 80s (I don't recall the year exactly, but I was a preteen, so around that time frame) but ultimately turned it down, which pissed me off - wanted to move there baaaad. It's a dumpy little building.
The Anglican church is/was quite a pretty little church.

To state the obvious, this is truly awful.

I had assumed it was the little maroon church (Pentecostal?) that was kitty corner to maligne lodge.
If it’s got to the Anglican Church then the downtown is gone.

Ugh this is hard to watch.
If anyone posts I wish it was hotter they need to be banned the rest of the summer.

If it's the maroon building, then yeah, that's the Pentecostal church.

Sadly I can only see this as being the first of many beautiful and internationally renowned areas we’re gonna lose in the coming years.

Only structural firefighters remain. The rest have been evacuated to Hinton because of the air quality.

That's a church? if it survives in it's new life he should be an ice cream store or realtors office.

It has been raining ash almost every year since these annual summer wildfires began in 2017 or so.

Remember that Smith got rid a bunch of funding and other stuff for these events. Now she’s sending her well wishes.

Yes, a decent amount of rain too, for perhaps 24hrs. It just needs to start.

Yup. Pretty sure that was the same building we went to when Dad was invited, 40+ years ago.
