Played at a128 point pace once he got healthy and used to the team. If you can lock him in at Sharangovich money that could be a steal.

Great value, discussed with some others what he would be worth in another thread. I was optimistic we could get him for around the Mangiapane caphit. Most others seemed to think 7m aav . Extremely happy with this contract. Term is decent too.

No thanks. Way to small of a sample size.

Well, he is at a 39 goal pace in his first season and after he got here. So I suppose 40 goal pace is a very very slight exaggeration.
I wouldn't say he was "magic" on the powerplay. But he improved it. and he did have some chemistry with Huberdeau.

Nah, you flip him for draft capital.

As long as it's a standard contract it should work out fine. Hopefully he keeps growing as a player with the opportunity he'll get here.

I was worried he was going to have another strong season and bolt as a UFA. Great term, great price, loves the city. Perfect signing Conny.

I don't really understand this deal, or why they have to re-sign him now. I suppose he will be good for some chaotic goals both ways which could be entertaining as we hopefully bottom out. Hopefully this means no Debrusk.

Seems like a great signing and agree with most about Kuz. Don’t make the mistake of falling in love with the pump and dump assets kids, they’re destined to play somewhere else

Kuzmenko is going to be flipped. He is not someone you sign long term.

He just turned 26 and coming off a 31 goal campaign, all while moving to a new position at C. His value was only going up.

I like the deal. Young player with a reasonable contract and term through the remainder of his prime years.
Makes more sense than signing an older player that becomes dead weight just as the flames are becoming good.

Awesome signing. Surprised Conroy could extract this much value in this contract. Above all else happy to see a player that wants to be here.

Love this signing! He proved himself in my eyes last season. 26 year old offensive centre/winger who can help with the development of upcoming forwards.

That's a stretch. He did not play a lot of centre.

Curious if this comes with a NMC, or because it's an extension do the original contract terms remain in place outside of the money?
