I thought we were trading Marky so we stopped winning games, does this mean we have to trade Wolf now as well?

Seriously though, great to see the team still fighting, bodes well for the future imo. Draft picks are as random as goalies, you never know what player your going to get, so worry about that later and enjoy the rest of the season, win or lose.

Flames would still need 23-24 points to have a shot at stealing a wildcard spot. Or a 11-3-1 / 12-3-0 record down the stretch. The Golden Knights only need to play .500 hockey.

Although you never know with Wolf.

Whatever slim chance there is I’m on the train since I don’t like actively cheering for a loss when I watch.

But damn it’s tough as always, they really need to completely win out or completely lose out and we’re probably just gna do the middle. If we end up with the 16th pick but with Wolf full of confidence in his ability at the NHL level, then maybe that’s a small investment made that helps out more than the difference of the player you could’ve got 4-5 places earlier at the draft.

The "fans" that wore the Nordiques jersey cheering for the Habs realize those two franchises hated each other, right?

Dustin Wolf looking like a potential #1 Goalie is the biggest positive this franchise has had in decades.

Should have made the trade to get Wolf and other assets in the line up sooner. Could have seriously been in the mix.

I remember the 960 guys saying that as the return started to roll in.

I kind of wish they would go on a long losing streak but happy to see Wolf’s solid play. Great move by the coach to put him back in and let him have a run of success and gain some confidence at the NHL level.

I would never wish for a long losing streak.

Frankly...what I think this team needs is a run of games. Conroy and Huska have been throwing out different dudes on an almost nightly basis, it takes a while to generate chemistry.

They've got to play themselves into a groove. Some sort of consistency and rhythm.

I think they're really solid on the Camaraderie aspect as, at the moment, Calgary is 'The Island of Misfit Toys.'

But that can work to your advantage. Eventually.

Nah. Once the season is over, it’s back to the drawing board as things will reset and whatever happened this season will have no bearing on next season. Drafting top 10 is worth considerably more than meaningless wins at the end of the season.

I disagree. For the main core the Culture remains.

Oh weird, maybe he asked for that this time. Usually every six months or so he'd lose it and say he's done spending time making gifs and videos, then wait a few months for posters to lament that he's gone and then he'd return to a heros welcome.
