That's when the yearbook was posted.
The analysis of each of the prospects may have been done whenever and then updated. Miromanov's reads like it hadn't been totally refreshed. In any case. late bloomers happen and even Dobber's report has him as an NHL level talent.

All indications are he is, in fact, getting top 6 minutes…

Thanks. I was half paying attention and wondered if that was in fact what he said. Makes sense

Either way averaging 6 mins is pretty weak. Like why even dress him?

I am excited to see what he brings .
Vegas was/is very deep in defense.
Look how pleased we have been with Pachal and he was only able to get into 27 games over the last two seasons with Vegas.
It's similar for Miromanov who only got 18 games for Vegas the past two years.
Maybe both guys end up being surprising hidden gem RH dmen that are serviceable for the Flames.

Hearing on the Fan960 that Pachal and Miromanov have played together on the Silver Knights in the AHL I would try..
Weegar-Andersson -- Been together all year
Kylington-Hanley -- Hanley seems like a Tanev lite/stay at home
Miromanov-Pachal -- Previous history together
Gilbert
Looks like Pachal and Miromanov overlapped in the 2022/2023 season where Miromanov put put 22 points in 31 games and Pachal 15 points in 55 games respectively in the AHL. Would be curious to find out if they played on same pairing.

I don't believe they did — they're both righties. I was talking to Pat earlier trying to dig some stuff up on that. Miromanov played PP, Pachal PK'd.

Zadorov is averaging 17:01 since he's been with Vancouver. In his last five games, his ice time has ranged from 13:26 to 18:54.
Where did you get 6 minutes from?

It was a joke referring to "top six" minutes. I thought it was a good one!

Huska has been pivotal in developing Rasmus and Kylington. And 2 of our defenders have arguably had career years (Hanifin, Weegar).
Meanwhile, Conroy keeps picking up amateur defenders. Looks to me like Conroy believes Huska has the touch to develop/improve defenders.
And perhaps he has a different strategy in mind to address forward depth.

Reason: meant to type Weegar, not Tanev.

It makes sense to me.
Defencemen typically take longer to reach their prime than forwards. A 20-year-old D prospect is likely to become an NHL regular about the same time as an 18-year-old forward drafted this summer. Conroy has certainly acquired more than his share of D prospects this year.
It's a cliche (because it's true) that you always want to draft the BPA. But I imagine that where there's a close decision, the Flames will pick a forward ahead of a defenceman and a centre ahead of anything else. If they stock up on forwards these next two or three drafts, they could have a whole crop of NHL-ready players arriving in 2027 or '28.

Conroy seems to be trading for players who are younger with a similar play or style to the player leaving plus prospects. Toffoli out for Sharongovich our new shoot first sniper, Tanev out for our new stay at home defensive defenseman Grushnikov. Hanifin out for our new scoring pp qb dman Daniil. I like it.

Hopefully the next wave of players actually want to re-sign and be a part of the ongoing core. Not always with one foot out the door like this last batch of UFAs.
Definitely tired and over that ####.

I think if you’re trying to score a goal Miromanov is going to get more minutes with Kylington to try and get one. And if we’re trying to maintain a lead, Pachal is slotted with Kylington.
