Ok, awesome. How many concussions since he graduated?

Seems like a lot for that hit. In isolation, whatever, but some consistency would be nice.

No idea, you tell me. Also did you diagnose him with CTE? Where did you get your medical degree? Was it a doctor or are you just assuming because he's a goon he was also a dummy?

Punishment seems a bit heavy handed given what has been allowed to happen in other incidents this year, but whatever, I like that teams will still have to adjust their game if Pospisil is forechecking them. Pospisil’s reputation will get into the heads of defenders and they won’t have the same composure. Sucks for Pospisils bank account but I like it for the Flames identity.

Because I have watched hockey long enough to see Parros get multiple concussions including one in Montreal where he was knocked out and landed face first on the ice. I don't need to be a doctor to know he has CTE, I just have to look at the results of other enforcers that have since passed and what their scans looked like, the majority of whom didn't have as many head trauma events as Parros did.

Don’t complain. You should have seen this suspension coming and be prepared for it.

Of course I did, I just think it is too much. The same hit by someone else will end up being a fine. That's my issue with it. 3 games for a hit by a first offender on a guy that turned and made himself vulnerable? That's a game at most. If Leon Draisaitl lays that hit does he get 3 games? Just be consistent.

Good to know you can diagnose these things so easily, I’m curious what symptoms you noticed he was displaying? Or does everyone who gets a concussion get CTE.
I think it’s much more likely the only symptom you see him displaying is giving a suspension you don’t agree with.

Everybody who has taken the head trauma George Parros has will have some amount of CTE, it has been documented time and time again. You can argue until you are blue in the face, I will go with science here.

Here, this was just one of many concussions Parros suffered and the story after.

I am sorry that I ripped on Parros, you are obviously a big fan of his really inconsistent judgements. To each their own.

One concussion in the absence of other brain trauma has never been seen to cause CTE.
The best evidence available today suggests that while in theory CTE could begin after one brain injury, if it does, it is rare. In populations that are exposed to years of regular, repetitive brain trauma, CTE does not appear to be rare, but we do not yet know how prevalent it is because it cannot be accurately diagnosed during life. There are also many individuals who suffer years of head impacts but do not develop CTE.

That's the science really.
They just dont know for sure.

You must pick things up very quickly, I’m not arguing he didn’t get concussions and I know that the more you have the higher the risk goes but none of that means he has CTE.
I realize you’re steadfast in always being right but maybe, just maybe you sometimes have no idea what you’re talking about

More sound medical advice from CP’s resident doctor, should add “Dr” to user name

But Dunn never turned so he tried to get him from the side a bit, but the angle he was coming was almost impossible to not get him a bit from the back.
He does seem weird that Dunn didn't re-position his body at all and kept himself in the dangerous position.

100% agree with this.
That said pospisil has been at or over the line a bit and needed a calibration from the league. Same thing happened with Tkachuk.
Hope he finds the right side of the line as he is an effective player like that.

On its own, I don't mind 3 games for that hit
When you look at the worse hits that get less or nothing, that's extremely annoying
