If they just said "we're starting Vladar because we want to start Vladar" and said Kuzmenko is a healthy scratch I wouldn't think twice, but they've used illness when there's something going on that's definitely not illness. maybe they both just have tummy aches I guess but timing is curious for both players

Expect lots of jump tonight from the Huberdeau-Sharky-Pelts line.
Pelletier going to be a big boost to the bench also, happy to see that he's back after the rough hit.

And no Kuzmenko.. not that he’s been lights out, but having more offensive skill in the lineup against these orange and blue clowns would be nice. Oilers always play the flames like it’s their Stanley cup. Need all hands on deck for the inevitable multiple mcpowerplays

Another backup for the Oilers!
Something fishy going on...

I don’t know why. I thought he was generating offense against the bruins.

Man, I’m really wondering about the Kuzmenko/Huska dynamic.
There is too much going on for it to be coincidental. Something isn’t right here.

We all know how I feel so we know which one I would dump and it isn't the Russian.

It does seem like something is going on. Sending a message is usually 1 game. Not 3.

Do you remember how Huska treated Sharangovich early on in the season?
Huska expects alot out of skill players, I wouldn't worry much. Once Kuzmenko gets used to the system and accepts to play how Huska expects him to play I fully expect him to have a longer leash.

Pelletier in will be a boost.
Markstrom not in is fine if he's not 100%. I don't think he's being traded. That NJ ship sailed two weeks ago, and Vladar needs to be showcased for a trade as well.

I think you can just remove the centre speaker of your sound system to lose the commentary and you will still hear the crowd noise? Sportsnet hates this one simple trick.

Yeah this is the time for a coach to set clear expectations for a new player.

How many times do you guys need to be told Kuzmenko is sick?
As for Markstrom backing up, some of you need to relax. There are lots of occasions where a guy could play, but if it isn't playoffs, then no need. So Markstrom sits, but if needed he could go in. How is that a problem for some of you?

Anyone know where I can find some tinfoil. Been to all the usual stores in town and they’re all sold out. Strange.

Just need to add flames end up shorthanded for 4 minutes for a light shove to Kane’s chest after the hit from behind
