Detroit people have got some weird kinks!

I have a feeling that this coming week there may be a trade or two happening. That game was really bad.

Yeah, one more time, Markstrom really masked a ton of flaws on the roster with his play this season. And I think everyone knows it. But today, even he couldn't save the team from themselves. Whatever is going on in the defensive zone isn't working. Or their heads not in it from the deadline stuff.
It's just wild how there's no in between how they look when winning games versus when they're losing games.
Jekyll/Hyde stuff.

They say we can't trade all of Tanev, Hanifin and Markstrom or we will get embarrassed. LOL. OK, this wasn't embarrassing at all. Bring on the trades. This team looked completely checked out.

Thinks this is what we’re going to get for the next few seasons.
Hopefully the effort picks up though.

How long has it been since they played a full 60 minutes? Almost two years?
It's time to burn this right to the ground. There's maybe 4-5 guys on this team that put in an honest effort every night. The rest are like cancer.
I know Conroy will move anyone he can to make this team better, but damn I wish it could happen faster.
Huby is an unflushed turd we will have to look at for the next 7 years.

Games like this continue to remind me of the “not having fun” position and how unprofessional I found it. Hopefully they are having a blast now

First game of the year for me. The one ice product was not very good. But even worse it seems like even the Pocket Dawg quality is lacking. Hopefully they can rectify it that for next year.

That use to be my favorite, back in thr late 80s. But they changed ownership too many times. Quality dropped off.

I read on Reddit, that the Flames powerplay at home 8 for 80 is currently 4th worst in the cap area and 7th worst since 1977.

I was there. First game I have taken my son to in a long time. He found it depressing and exhausting to watch.
Fleury was sitting a couple of rows behind. I think he jinxed it. Dude even left early.

I took my 4 year old to this game, his first ever Flames game. My wife spent a lot of money for tickets for our Christmas present this year and we were both very excited to go to the game.
First 10 minutes the Flames had some good chances but didn't score. 3 seconds into the Wings PP Kane scores and It's all down hill from there.
Team had no fight, no pushback, no pride. I don't mind if the team loses when they play hard, work hard, put in the effort.
My wife worked way harder than this team did to earn the money to buy these tickets and the team didn't show up.
Keep making trades and start bringing some guys in who will give a *uck. Just a very sad and disappointing day for me and my little guy.

Ha! Yeah, I am one of those guys.
In my basic little life, good hard work always put a smile on my face. The work and knowing you did it as good as you could is its own reward sometimes, certainly it should be if you are a millionaire playing a kids game.

It’s easier to work hard when you’re enjoying the work.
I don’t know why you keep snarking about this.

I didn’t watch the game.
Is he just overwhelmed in a top 6 C position? He doesn’t seem nearly as effective as I wanted him as center.
