Ok Conny, we’re just going to go down to Boston with 25% new roster, score 2 pp goals, multi point game from Huberdeau, and beat them 4-1 despite TWO 5 minute majors.

That was one of the of a the best games we have played in a long time.

The defensive gaffes are to be expected with younger players now and higher end skills guys.

Lindholm just didn’t have the type of skill we needed for Huberdeau. It looks like Kuzmeko is going to go to areas that Huberdeau can thread passes for dangerous chances. Will be funny and messy when they click.

The Weegar penalty was a double minor, not that it matters.

Treliving also seemed to lean on nice guys as good pickups, Lazar, Brouwer, Mason Raymond come to mind. I don't think that's an attribute that would sway Conroy's opinion of a player. Conroy seems more interested in what they can actually offer.

I give up. I don’t understand this team and I don’t understand hockey. I’ll just enjoy that beautiful beat down of one of the best teams in the league.

I dunno, they talked about it. But he also picked up Neal and Smith. No one ever mistook them for nice guys.

I really liked the PK tonight. Even the 5 on 3 was handled well until there was a lucky tip. Which I think Markstrom got a piece of.

Markstrom isn't letting them fall into the top 10

Better make the playoffs then

How much of that game was Boston just playing quite poor?
Flames looked good but i dunno- that’s not the Boston I’m familiar with
Take nothing away for the W though. Nice to see

Pretty sure Tre talked about Neal and how he sold him on what he could bring. I don't feel like going back to look for it though. Treliving was a hard worker who always tried to bring in some big names. I am just happy Conroy is here and is doing a good job.

The win was so shocking it fried the Fan960 tonight. Went off the air with a minute left after the Flames blew all the circuits!

Like really
In a professional world, what do you do with that?
If your big complaint after losing is “I’m not having fun”……

Markstrom’s job is going to be a lot more difficult without Hanifin and Tanev.

Feels like this team (Markstrom) doesn't want to give up, Tanev is playing like he wants to be here. I bet if they go on a run Conroy would let them stick together. We have 2 less passengers and it could be the difference for this team.

Backlund is getting older, he can't be too excited about a retool, rebuild.
