With depth D who are playing low minutes and going to be replacement level, I would rather have the tough ones like Gilbert and Pachal.

LOL, the OP said big and strong. Saw the measurements at the end. 6'2" is about average or slightly on small end for a "big" d-man. As a comparison, Hawks D's are no less than 6'4" - all 8 of them! I'm happy with the right shot,though and a FREE pickup.

I'd go after Mario Ferarro (25) or Kaiden Guhle (22) to replace Tanev, Ferraro has been rumoured to have been on the block for a while now and is a shot blocking fiend. Nick Seeler would be another option, but he is 30 and doesn't have a great game overall.

I don't think the Habs would part with Guhle unless it's for something substantial, but I would love that- he's really underrated. Guhle is big, skates like the wind, plays an all-around game, and still hasn't fulfilled his potential yet.
