Imagine this defence when Tanev and Hanifin are gone...

How many breakaways are we going to give them?! This is embarrassing.

Is it that hard to prevent break away? Other teams don’t allow the Flames any.

Seems like the players have already given up on the season. Too bad, considering they actually looked like they were finally starting to gel and were looking like a pretty good hockey team a couple weeks ago.

I actually want to see Coleman - Lindholm - Sharangovich for a bit. Two of them have amazing chemistry when playing 4 on 5.

Maybe it’s time we invent the 2-3 system. As in 2 forwards and 3D.

Both of these teams look like they have zero confidence.

Backlund has given the puck away several times at the opposing Blue line tonight already.

If you are going to cough up breakaways, it may as well be against my guys. Markstrom's trade value will go up as my guys fail and flail with no finish.

100% agree. With that said, it’s never been more obvious to me than now that they need to draft as high as humanly possible and inject some elite talent into the system.

Coaching staff needs to start feeling the heat as well. The defensive structure and PP are atrocious. Sure, we lack a lot of top end talent but these bad habits and turnovers are just inexcusable.

Not that it matters but why separate Huberdeau and Sharkbait? Seems daft.

We went 9 rounds in a shoot out win vs. Saint Joe on the 16th. That one was great! Both teams were sucking hard! Breakaways are still low percentage for us.

Gotta commend Flames commit to the tank. They're intentionally try to lose now by all these breakways they're giving to the worst team in the league, that's missing their best player.
Who will "win" this TANK BOWL?

Are we going to give up a record number of breakaways? Sheesh! Poor Marky.
