I don't know for sure --- but I think (hope?) Conroy adopts the "both" strategy which is sell what you can but try to remain competitive anyhow and make the playoffs with the kids and remaining players leftover --- like the Preds tried to do last year?

I don't think it has to be "all or none".

I don’t really see that as likely at all. Nashville was in a similar position and still sold off last year.

Nothing Conroy has said or done indicates he has any interest in losing those guys for nothing, even at the risk of a wildcard spot.

And the Oilers are doing the lose 10 win 10. A little unorthodox, but at the end of the day it's the same thing.

Hopefully the Flames can continue to win games they should win.

It might work this year for Georgiev because of how good Colorado is, but ultimately I think you want you goalie to actually be good and play well if you want long term success.
If the team in front of you is 'mediocre', and yet you are doing enough to get wins, maybe you are actually doing something right.

Markstrom's NMC probably has something to say about this. As for the Lindholm and Hanifin, we likely don't have the cap to keep them with the Huberdeau anchor.
