LOL. He had ONE powerplay goal in 79 games last year... and 0 in 15 games this year.

Rest him and play him more 5 on 5.

Andersson?

He's averaged 50 points a year for 2 years and is on his way to 50+ points this year.

Don't blame the D, blame the system and the forwards who suck ass in it.

Small sample size. He's career .436 for 35 points per season (I mathed wrong in initial post).

Not saying he can't consistently be closer to 50 points going forward but I don't think you can say he's that player yet.

And I agree on lack of skilled forwards and system. Still, a better option for powerplay QB would benefit the team.

Small sample size? He's 27, he's been improving. I think the 25 and 26 years are a little more relevant than his first 3 years in the league, no?

First 3 years: 20 point guy
Next 3 years: 50 point guy

"He's a 35 point guy overall!"

Like he has the shot but he can't fathom the idea of shooting the puck at the net. It's so inept.

Maybe we should try 5 forwards out there. But I think if they gave Zadorov a chance he would be better than Ramsus by a mile.

Actually we do have the answer. As soon as Pourier is healthy they need to call him up asap.
It could be 60, 100 or 200 ... not sure.

Until they have a replacement available that makes sense. Money's on Poirier at the moment but he has to continue to develop.

Nothing on the roster that is better in my mind.

Markstrom stood on his head but the Flames defensive zone coverage and turnovers costed them the game. It'll be interesting to see if any team looking for a playoff goalie is now tuning into Markstrom. This next 5-10 games will tell the tale.

With him: 7-5-3, 49GF 50GA (-1Diff)

Without him: 0-4-0, 5GF 17GA (-12Diff)

Just put him in a Kylington jersey. Nobody will notice.

I'm pretty much the same. Wait until the end of the season standing comes in. It would suck if they come in 9th place again in their conference and sitting somewhere in the middle of the pack in the draft with no first round pick. Cripes, I'm not even sure which 1st rounder the Habs get.
