Also, if they keep this level of playbupnthey won't be in the mushy middle for long, so no need to worry.
As a wise man once said:

Is the glass half full or half empty? Depends if you're pouring or drinking.

At the moment, the glass appears to be filling up.

Even more unbelievable than the OT win: Flames post-game coverage.

I think Greer was only for one shift. He has a motor, so maybe that was the thought process - have it rub off.

I think it is good for Huberdeau’s ego that Huska went heavily to him.

Rasmus might be the best player on this team, we’re knocking on LA’s door if he never got suspended.

Huberdeau is playing way better now. Not just because he’s getting points, just looks way more comfortable and making less mistakes. Actually looking like a point/game player out there which is great. Crazy what a dose of Backlund can do for you.

I thought Kadri was unbelievable again tonight, only one point but he looked dangerous whenever he was out there. He’s been our best forward for nearly a month now but this fanbase will never give him that kind of credit. I still can’t believe ppl were actually calling his contract the worst in the league.

As fun as it is to watch these “comeback kids” we still need to sell everything we can. Let’s not get tricked into thinking this team is good enough to be a contender.

I'd be really surprised if he doesn't. I think it was just to get the team going after a very blah 2nd. I thought Zary was really quiet tonight so no surprise he saw very little ice, but that's to be expected form such a young guy at times. I think we'll see the same lines that started this game start next game too. Nice to have some adversity and respond. Good sign.

Are you kidding? They didn't even show up in the Detroit, St. Louis, and Edmonton games. They weren't one Andersson away from flipping no-show losses into wins.

Backlund + Coleman are magicians for getting people going.
I might give Meaghan Mikkelson some credit here too.

After the first game with Backlund and Coleman where that line was terrible she made some really good points on the radio. Talked about how Huberdeau looked slow, and that it looked like he was waiting for the game to come to him, not moving his feet, and was thinking about what to do instead of anticipating the play and using his natural instincts.

Then it was mentioned that she chatted with him privately after that game.

And ever since he's looked good the past three games.

Would love to know what they talked about because it seemed to work.

Huberdeaus passing has been night and day. He'll be tied up with a guy and next thing you know a perfect pass comes squirting out right on to a linemate's tape.

Good s###. Just keep being you huby.

She actually talked about what they discussed. Nothing technical, just how he was dealing with adversity. Not so much her giving advice either - more just talking.

They were one goal down against the Oilers in the third

Amazingly so. It wasn't like the Ottawa game where they were in it until a gaffe.

All this, and the bad guys lost again tonight... "We suck, for a number of different reasons."
