Absolutely. I've warmed up to the Huska hire after watching his interview on Barnburner. He seems like a good guy that's in tune with today's players. It's clear Conroy is a believer as I feel from the start Huska was his guy so it's going to be interesting to see if Conroy is right because if he is then he's already off to a better start than Treliving when it came to choosing coaches.

It's way too soon to say that. Love is more hyped than Huska because of his AHL success the last couple of seasons but Huska may end up having more success than him at the NHL level.
If this guy is as good as a coach as a lot of people think and a lot of the reporting says the same, why not really give him a really good bump in salary as AHL coach with a promise of bringing him up next year to learn more of the ropes? Do the Huska style move with him to keep him within the organization?
Weird, if he is as good as a lot think. Why let him walk as it appears we have?
Nelson has a better resume than Love, doubt he wants to stick around the Capitals organization after they passed him over for Carbury.
Odd that Nelson hasn't gotten a head coach position in the NHL. 4 minor league championships as head coach, NHL assistant coaching experience, some NHL head coaching experience. Probably the Oiler stink on him.
Wasn't he the guy who was doing all-forward powerplays to the best pp in the AHL?
I'd be interested
