Ocean tides are no joke, and change rapidly. I wonder if when Gracie and Lily got there they were more powerful, as later teams didn't have much of an issue. Despite them not being all that physical, it was nice to see they fought through and didn't collapse like a cheap lawn chair.

One small mistake, along with the overtake really did them in. That, and J&J finding it in the second sand castle. They really didn't deserve to go home.

This week, the teams head to Tofino and Gracie & Lily make their first mistake of the race at exactly the wrong time and Jermaine & Justin actually have good luck for once, so Gracie & Lily are going home.

It's too bad this wasn't a non-elimination leg. I got to like them.

That was an interesting leg, but with a disappointing finale. Of course G&L get passed and have to wait for the give-up slowpokes who luck into the sand dollar.

The tree dancing was actually pretty neat, though.

Gracie and Lily had finished 1st, 2nd twice and 4th. Unfortunately they fall to the bottom at the wrong time, in large part because of a strategic (and nasty) delay.
I wouldn't say the Queens completely lucked into the sand dollar, it was pretty smart thinking actually. But I can't see them lasting any longer.

Well, this was a disappointing leg. Gracie and Lily certainly didn't have the best day (struggled with diving and missing the food truck the first time), but I blame their loss on a gimmick and the drag queens.

If they hadn't missed the taco truck, they wouldn't have been stuck waiting for the drag queens.

The drag queens were smart to realize they should look for castles that hadn't been re-built, but that only worked because Derek and Jaspal searched and re-built a lot of castles.

At this point, I like all the remaining teams except the drag queens. I like the one who said he wanted to go on the Amazing Race solo edition. Nevertheless, I hope they are the next to go.

I don't have much faith in my other team going far. Every time they seem to be getting it together, they start sliding back again.

It was nice to see Deven & Amanda not have a terrible leg for once, but yeah the queens are definitely undeserving of a spot at the moment and they know it. Have lucked in to not being eliminated twice now.

Jermaine is a much nicer friend than I would be in this situation. He's really impressed me. Justin has been pretty much what I expected and why I picked the Gail and Gisele over them initially. And yet....

The crazy moment of that episode was Derek and Jaspal almost leaving their detour. They would've been well behind Grace & Lily at the kelp thing and certainly eliminated if they didn't go back to the sand castles.

This week, the teams travel to the Niagara region of Ontario and the episode ends with only 2 teams having checked in.

Because of the scheduling, it was obviously not going to be an elimination leg, but it still would have been nice for it to end.

What an absolute joke of an ending. It's not a mega leg, or keep racing leg, since Ty and Kat won a trip. Cliffhanger ending? Booo. Though I actually expected Jermaine & Justin to roll in last and it be a non-elimination leg. Perhaps that's what this is, and the producers couldn't stand to show it in this episode, so by waiting until next week, it'll be non-elimination to finish this up, then an elimination.

I feel like the preview for the next episode showed all the teams, so I guess it's non elimination or something? I thought it was all new footage anyway.

I guess at least they let us see the winner of the leg, instead of ending with two teams racing for first? Although it was obvious Ty and Kat were coming in first.

Glad that Ben and Anwar improved, but they needed both an express pass and an assist to do so, so I'm not too confident in them.

One of my biggest frustrations with this show is non-elimination legs saving awful teams like Jermaine and Justin while teams like Lily and Gracie go. Jermaine and Justin will keep hanging around by "losing" non-elimination legs while decent teams make one mistake and get eliminated.
