Just saw Ekholm penalty which led to 4th VGK goal. Ekholm incredulous that a blatant cross check was called on the mighty oilers. You know who else on the ice was just as upset? Kane. He's gotten away with about five of those....
The Oilers lost to a team playing their 3rd string goalie and all they can say is how unlucky the Oilers were and that they easily could have won the Cup.
The Oilers are a poorly built team with a head coach out of his depth that got a ton of breaks in both series why can’t the media admit this instead of constantly over rating them? It’s embarrassing.

Earlier in the game Pissy did a fly-by on Pietrangelo I think, faking the two handed slash.
Watching the game replay he did the same thing to AP with 1 min left.
So... you're down by two goals, with a minute left. There is still a very, very small chance you could tie it, very unlikely. But not impossible. Instead of doing all he can to tie the game, with minute odds, Leon the loser fakes a slash at pietrangelo?

that's my reaction towards Vegas. Always disliked them, but they did the hockey world a solid. Thank you, Vegas! I shall remember your contributions to a better world, even if I do end up rooting against you in every other round going forward.

I didn’t watch the game but did check the score every once in a while. I’m not going to lie it did bring me joy to know I won’t have to listen to all of the Oiler fans I work with anymore.
I just can’t cheer for the Oilers or the Leafs. Probably the Canucks as well.

Oilers got outscored 17-9 at even strength. Yeah of course they lost, the other team was better.
They got caved in 5 on 5. Their PP has been good for years but one has to wonder what happens to that team in the PP regresses from historic levels back to just good.
