Don’t think it’ll work. Secondary market prices in Florida for playoff hockey will likely pale in comparison to what Leafs fans already pay
Won't keep out the Snowbirds either that likely have US bank accounts haha

I’d get my good friend to buy tickets for me if I wanted to go, which I don’t.

LOL. Half their season ticket holders are Leaf fans!

Bob is starting considering he saved them in game 5

Either that, or there's a side deal set with the secondary market people

I think the stars are aligning here for the Leafs. Boston out, Tampa eliminated, I am assuming they should handle Florida easily given the style matchup. Carolina will be a challenge but with Colorado out in the west, whoever the opponent is, I truly think the Leafs can handle. Leafs seem to be the strongest team left.

Are you forgetting NJ & NY? both teams are just as good or better than the leafs.

Not sure why you would think this, they played very evenly against each other during the regular season. Should be a long series imo.

Well, if I were the Leafs, I would have happily accepted those trade offers from the Flames. It's not their fault we've offered them up.

I think both have glaring holes. NJ is the pure offense, with questions about d and goaltending. Their offense is very strong. NY, good top 2 lines, great goaltending, but very shallow D and bottom two lines.

By no means am I saying Toronto is the best thing since sliced bread, but they've got a great mix going. They have skill, they have some speed, some guys can slum it. There are no glaring holes. Carolina poses a threat style wise but beyond that I think Boston getting smoked, and Colorado too makes their path easier.

Why I think they'll steamroll Florida is simply I think Florida emptied the tank. Beyond that, Florida's goaltending is very questionable. They're not streaky - just unreliable. Defence isn't all that deep either. Sets it up so the Leafs just roll four lines and they'll be fine.

Goaltending. Same thing that a lot of people sunk the Bruins.

Samsonov did very well at the end there. I don't see him as questionable at all. Just me personally.

Yeah it's not like Samsonov is some world beater, average at best.

I didn't think Samsonov was great at the start of the series against the Lightening, but he was very solid by the end. He definitely improved as the time went on.

I think he is ok but not a world beater, he lets in soft goals like Bob. Goaltending (hopefully) is a wash in this series.
