Which of their own first round picks are still around the Flames? Backlund, 2007. Pelletier, 2019. Zary, 2020. If Coronato signs, 2021. Anyone else?

Mangiapane will be fine. His struggles are shooting percentage related.

19-20: 15.6%
20-21: 19.8%
21-22: 18.9%
22-23: 8.5%

When a guy is shooting half of his career average shooting percentage the last thing you do is sell low on him. He had 4 shots and 3 scoring chances tonight.

Just baffling
That just goes to show the Flames mentality in OT. Play it safe by having a defensive Dman in Tanev out there to start vs that killer instinct to go for the extra point with an offensive back end.

The "rim it around" Flames lost again. I like that this is gaining traction.

What pressure?

The pressure imposed by that dinosaur behind the bench?

The Flames #%^*ed it up. They should really start looking at ways to stop #%^*ing everything they do up.

Hopefully Sutter as well followed by Kadri. Bread you can leave as well please.

Others?
I think I need Sutter gone more than anything. I hate his player deployment.

He has no read on the group and doesn't have enough patience for the young players who will help this team

The last thing the Flames should do is trade him. Therefore they will trade him

Kadri is only good when Harnarayan Singh does the play by play.

Frustrating, yet kinda happy for the loss at the same time. Winning here and there will only make things worse.

Shoot out was their best shot at winning

Sutter already gave up on the skill game in OT

Pressure of actually wanting to win games and not finish as low in the standings as possible

Darryl Sutter hockey ladies and gentlemen.

Outshoot the opposition 39-22 (5on5) and yet end the game with less high danger chances.

Rinse and repeat.

This coach kills the confidence of his players. Valimaki showed that tonight.

I sure hope that all of these teams that have no pressure on them find a way to pass flames.

Monahan would just be dead cap, mending in perpetuity

But I suppose it would open another spot for a wrangler, and we would have one more 1st rounder

An insider speculated at the game on Friday night. Also mentioned he and Sutter are not on good terms at all.

Let the season be over so the soap opera can continue.

What a mess.
