Yes, it was quite audible at the buzzer and that was with 80% of the crowd already gone because of the empty netter. If the Ducks hadn't scored and the clock ran out it would have been much, much louder.

Pretty disappointing result. And next are the Senators, who don't know how to lose to the Flames. Might be a brutal weekend, after the Dallas and Wild wins. Most confusing season I have witnessed in a while.

Maybe the Flames don't play well against bad teams...

Because they are also a bad team?

Big win for the Okotoks Oilers over the Camrose Kodiaks in the AJHL playoffs tonight. Figured this thread could use the good vibes.

Is hockey in general getting frustrating to watch because there are too many teams and not enough real talent to go around making taking the overall level of the game play downward?

It was kind of fun for the last few days when we thought the flames had a shot at making the playoffs and having a three game win streak

Insert that horn sound here…..

I will never be happy about any team called the Oilers winning anything.

Man, I can't wait for the strength of schedule to help us power up those standings.

There's some blame of Sutter and his insistent to use the Ritchie, but blame has to go to Treliving for bringing in Ritchie, you're basically putting beer in the fridge of an alcoholic.

#### this team is unlikable. Long for the days when the playoffs weren’t guaranteed but the boys looked like they were really trying. 84 million dollar contracts given zero games might have something to do with the stank on this group.

That would require this team to dress more than one young player.

Markstrom would have had to have another shutout for flames to win. 1 goal won’t do it.
