For some reason, even when Markstrom was at his lowest, I always felt more at ease with the idea of Markstrom acting as a mentor to Wolf in his rookie season.
Vladar isn't a bad goalie but I think you can move him pretty easily to address another area of need. And I think when the Flames make the necessary changes in the summer — like behind the bench — there'll be a better atmosphere for Markstrom to rebound.
