I’m less inclined to blame Markstrom than a top 4 defenceman not getting the body or the puck, what the hell was that?

It's good to have skilled players who can finish their chances.

I mean…it was a good play and a good shot, but we’ve had about 6-7 good plays and good shots, but their goalie has made saves on all of them.

Andersson slow to react at the red line and then too slow to catch up, which forces the requirement for the switch over with Hanifin which then gives Konecney the space to shoot.

At least this guy has looked good before us. Dude is rocking a 5-0-0 playing for the friggin’ Flyers, and already has 1 shutout in those five games

Flames need to win this #%^*ing game. Keep generating chances.

Flames didn't once make the Flyers goalie move and then shoot back against the grain like that. even the 2 on 0 was a really predictable shot.

Not a bad goal perse. Konecny made a good move and good shot. But after watching the Flyers goalie make some 10 bell'ers, it would've been nice for Markstrom to do the same.

I think only the Mangiapane save was that good. the rest were the Flames hitting the goalie.

More of an indictment of the Flames that we have nothing to show for our chances.

Which is why I’m not in the least worried about Huby or Kads; I keep that in the back of my mind always now. It was tough to lose Johnny but the year before the majority of the fan base was ready to drive him to the airport. Still doesn’t make the tough times any easier though lol, can’t wait until this team starts playing up to their level consistently. Good start today but tough to be clawing back again.

That's not Markys fault. Konecny executed his play perfectly

He's made a couple of really good saves but mostly the Flames are just hitting him.
