That was fun. Are all Ranger games like this?

We lost. Let's shoot the entire team and start over.

By my math, the Avalanche are on pace for 97 points. So, the Flames may need 20/31 to surpass that pace? The Avalanche have the season series. Is that correct?

With our luck Lucic would have got a 5 min instigator and game over. Team plays like crap in front of Marky. Ride Vladar

Kadri can’t pass. He was directly responsible for two goals because he can’t make a freaking pass to save his life.

The good news is that the Flames backup got us a point against a good team that was playing well before the break. Plus, we get Vladar back for the next game against Detroit.

What the hell are you talking about? They fought him. Mentally weak is they did nothing to the hits.

He made some big saves but the same issues persisted tonight IMO.
Small in his net, not square to the shooters, and absolutley no control of his lateral movement. Just sprawling all over the net more times then I can count, including the game winner where he makes a big save but completely slid out of his net somehow.
The underlying fundamental issues that seem to have plagued him did again tonight, and in the end he still let in 5.

Now 0-11-2 when trailing after two.
Horrible game from Kadri.
Mangiapane skates away as Lafreniere wins it in overtime.
Trouba with two devastating open ice hits and won fights. Lucic blown up by Blais but gave him a scary glare afterwards.
What is this team's strength?

Lucic should have been traded instead of Monahan.

I just look at it as a pretty typical Flames game.
Flames were leaky and undisciplined, Markstrom posted a sub-.900 game, and the Flames lost.
That’s just the team this year.
Markstrom has lost the structure to his game. This is going to continue to be a problem. We’ve seen it on nights this year where the team wasn’t as leaky as they were tonight.

I guess another 57 page PGT is on the way
Anyway
2 games into this road trip (counting Seattle before the All-Star break) and we have 3 points. The next 3 are winnable. Could be looking at a good road trip.

Zadorov BRUTAL in OT.
I like the Swedes out there but then get Huberdeau back on. He was GOOD in ot with Florida. WAYYYY too much Lucic in that game. He is ridiculously slow.

Kadri, Dube, Zadorov no good.
Hanifin, Weegar, Coleman, Markstrom good. Backlund was until the 4th goal.
Not enough from Lindholm, Huberdeau, Mangiapane. I’d sure like Pelletier to get some points - I think he will explode.

Mangiapane and Kadri should be going for the break...that's how OT works. Zadorov stops at the net like he's supposed to and they have a two on one
