There are hundreds of Martin St Louis stories of guys why didn't get a chance, got traded, and fizzled out.

Don't let the outlier story change your way of judging talent.

They are executing, nothing more nothing less. For a while it was on the defensive side of the puck now it’s on offense.

It’s snowballing into squeezing the sticks as confidence bleeds out. Sutter knows this & that this isn’t the time to come down hard on them.

They’ll come around, they just need some breaks to go along with their hard work. This will allow them to earn their confidence & things will get rolling the other way.

No one missing from the Wranglers roster tonight in Winnipeg, so probably no call up for tomorrow.

I don’t believe so. I think it is 10 games or 30 days whichever one comes first. I might be wrong though

Pelletier and Phillips are the two I want to see given a long look on our roster this season.

No, that's only time spent in the NHL. Since no one currently in the AHL who cleared waivers at the start of the season has spent any time in the NHL yet, they all can be recalled for 30 days/10 games played before needing to clear waivers again.

Gilbert is currently at 6 days/2 games and DeSimone is at 6 days/3 games, and both their clocks are ticking because they are in the NHL. Those counts are cumulative across multiple recalls, so if they get sent down before hitting the 30 day/10 game mark, a subsequent recall will be added to whatever they have on this recall.

			Huberdeau - Kadri - PhillipsRuzicka - Lindholm - Toffoli
 Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman
 Pelletier - Dube - Schwindt
 Lucic/Lewis

The question is, if given a reasonable opportunity will Phillips/Pelletier/Schwindt bring more value, energy and points to this team than Lewis/Ritchie/Lucic based on the current lines and slottings?

What exactly do Lewis, Ritchie and Lucic bring to the lineup? How much have they contributed to winning? Lewis almost cost us the game vs LA and cost us vs Tampa with poor puck management. Sutter won't say anything because they won a championship in 2011 and 2012. If Phillips, Ruzicka etc made that mistake they are stapled to the bench. I would rather those guys make those mistakes and get a chance to learn from it.

Watching Lucic and Lewis plod around in the top 6 is disgusting.

The team needs a injection of some speed and youth, and teams that win cups usually have a team with homegrown talent which Lewis, Ritchie, Lucic and Rooney are not.

I don’t think we need to revamp the whole entire offense with some call ups. All I am asking for is one winger who is dominating the A and deserves some playing time in the middle 6. The problem with Phillips was his size because we already had a tiny dude in Gaudreau. Well? He’s gone now. Phillips has paid his dues. He deserves a long look on a line with either Huberdeau and Kadri or Backlund and Coleman. Whatever gets Lewis down on the 4th line and in an even rotation with Rooney, Lucic, and Ritchie. We have that flexibility with Lewis as a C/RW and Rooney as a C/LW.

All true and all good points, but that ship may have already sailed.

The Flames don't have the cap space to sit those players and bring up players from the farm.

Wranglers up 5-0 tonight. 1+2 each for Pelletier and Zary, two highlight-reel assists for Phillips. Ben Jones playing well, too.

The PP units also seem to be struggling, but the wranglers PP is near the top of the league.

It be nice if Phillips came up and clicked with Hubis passes, instead of them being wasted by Lewis

If that plug Kadri could stay onside, Lucic would have had a goal and that could have changed the entire tone of the last game, son
