Paying for parking, dealing with traffic, #### weather, insane prices for food & beer, long bathroom lineups, uncomfortable seats, stupidly loud arena music, incredibly annoying announcers, all to watch the mighty Kraken. I wouldn't take free tickets to the game tonight either

A reminder for viewers outside of the Flames region, this is not a nationally televised game. Centre Ice is required to see this game.

I would just take the train to the game. Free tickets are free tickets.

I’m in Saskatoon with Shaw cable. I have Sportsnet with my package but I don’t see the game listed on my guide. Does anyone know what channel this is showing on Shaw in Saskatoon?

Hope C Gibson plays, he’s my favourite opposition goalie.

Obscure comment I realize.
He was incredibly kind to my son at a Wranglers game. Had never heard of him, but now I wish him well.

8 goals against Seattles starter, then Gibson can get NHL action.

When I go to the game, it's almost always with either my dad or my wife. Right now, neither are comfortable being in a large, crowded place, and going by myself isn't any fun/interest.

Inflation and the cost to survive being so high is why nobody wants to pay for tickets sadly.

Let alone free tickets, as that still comes with added costs (potentially)
15-20 to park nearby.
5-12 per beer
5-10 per food item

It adds up quick, I try to primarily give my tickets away each year for donations but know even that’s hard to expect this year, it’s pretty sad.

Honestly, does the NHL not want me to watch Flames hockey? I paid the ridiculous price for sn now, have Sportsnet on my TV, but I cannot watch the game. I haven't been able to see a single game on sn now so far. It's absurd

If you paid for Sportsnet now, you should have the Flames channel

The NHL would love for you to watch Flames hockey. It's Rogers that doesn't want to deliver your eyeballs to their advertisers.

This is why I dread the results of the Rogers takeover of Shaw. Delivering the product that people have paid for does not seem to be anywhere on their priority list.

They've really cracked down on streaming as well.

Been watching American streams all year so far

Whenever I try to use Sportsnet Now to watch part of a game because something else that I'm watching on TV isn't finished I get a system error every 2-3 minutes.

And they wonder why people have to find alternative ways to watch games.

This is the frustrating part. TV only has Oilers (I'm in Salmon Arm). SN Now app says it's blacked out in my region. Support asks me to do a geolocation the day after I send an angry email, it shows Salmon Arm, they say it should work if I try again. Wait a few days for a game that's regional in Calgary and it happens again. Rinse and repeat

The game is on the secondary channel, Sportsnet Flames.
