It still seems weird that Sedoff didn't get drafted by any team (even as a D+2)...the kid looks like a real NHL prospect. Hopefully Treliving gives him an AHL deal
If you ask me, I really think we could use some puck-moving defense prospects. I think Sedoff fits the bill….

Brad Pascall would be not Treliving assuming he’s still the GM after the change from the Heat to the Wranglers.
Thay Cody Eakin interview was a bit of a bummer. Sounded like he's not that confident he can make the team and when asked what role did he envision on this team, it looked like a punch to the gut. Lost all steam in his train of thought and looked really bummed.

Maybe he’s hoping another team takes notice of his play and gives him an offer…
I wonder if the PTO’s would be more willing to play in the AHL, now that the team is playing in Calgary? Bigger city than most in the AHL, road trips are mostly flights to California rather than bus rides around small US cities. Enough appeal to extend their playing career?

weird, I took it as a pretty positive interview overall from him

He's obviously a longshot at this point, but he's still intriguing. His 2018-19 campaign for Vegas was a beauty with 22 G, 41 pts in 78 GP +19
Last couple of yrs less than desirable but 56% in the faceoff dot last season.

Could probably make more money in Europe that sign AHL deals. That said, a two-way deal from an NHL team would probably be on the table for a tweener who doesn't make the team but can fill in for injuries.
Not sure the AHL team in Calgary would move the needle for some veteran PTOs, although I'm sure the convenience is nice if they had a house / roots in Calgary.
He said he was pretty awesome and was the best player at the Penticton camp. Also compliments him on his skating near the end of the video. A young player getting praise like that from Sutter at his first NHL camp is quite a vote of confidence.

Not yet, but Sutter said that he's going to ease him in. I think he reasoned it by Kadri having a short summer, plus the injury he had in the playoffs. The same applies to Tanev.

Yup. That's another reason why Kadri has been on a line with the two PTOs. Not just to try them with a quality centre, but to give him a less demanding start in camp.

Call me crazy. Actually don't. But I strongly believe we are going to see another gear or level from Elias Lindholm this season. Going from playing on a line with boys to playing with men. They all sound like a team of horses ready to pull in unison to an end goal.
I can't quantify it but you can feel the difference around this team right now. It permeates through the speakers and text .
There's some magic here this year. I'm usually quite reserved about this team. It all just sounds and feels right.
