I'm undefeated this year in my 2004 Hangin with Jarome Tshirt and Jagr jersey combo. It hasn't been washed since 2004 either, and no I don't care what anyone thinks about that.
So I'm driving 3 hours this aft to go get it in order to wear it.
Whatever it takes fellas.

McDavid is having a historic playoff we all know. The crazy part is some of the other Oiler stats - Leon 22pts, Kane 12(!) goals, Hymen 7 goals, RNH almost ppg. You add Smith's .931 and all of a sudden they look like they are rolling.
Flames certainly have the horses to compete with anyone, including a great goalie. But Flames are going to need some contributions from guys outside the top line, especially Toff, Jarnkrok, Mang, Coleman.
When they play their game, they certainly can break down the Oilers structure and shell Smith into fatigue. McDavid WILL get points, you can't stop him. The key is to limit him, and then be relentless offensively when he's grabbing a breather.
Perhaps MOST importantly, they can't play scared. You have to go for it, McDavid is still human. Just a really good one at hockey.

Everybody has to show up. Can't have no-shows offensively, can't have Toffoli taking idiotic penalties, can't have Kylington standing in front of his own net doing nothing watching RNH put the puck in the net.
Thankfully it's the Oilers the Flames are playing and not an elite team. If they actually play like they can (including Markstrom) a 3-1 series deficit is certainly not impossible, at all. Just win tonight and you never know.
Would be ok with a guy like Carpenter drawing in tonight. I realize he wouldn't play much but he has shown spurts of creating some offense on the 4th line...
...then again Ritchie does have 2 goals this series
What's far more depressing is hearing from "fans" like you who never have anything constructive to say. That has always been your shtick though.
But I have learned alot about certain posters in the last few days. If you can't handle losing with a certain amount of grace, something went wrong with your development into an adult.
Constructive?
We're just fans watching other people play a game. It's a completely passive experience. The concept of "constructive" is irrelevant. All we have are observations.
I'm just not prone to delusions. The Flames have a brand of mediocrity and underperformance right up to and including last Tuesday. I'm hoping that tonight marks a turning point in the Flames history. But let's not deny what has happened in the past.

Sitting at home, perhaps. But fans in attendance can absolutely make a difference. Home ice advantage isn't solely about getting the last change..

A win tonight does nothing to change history. A win tonight means game 6, and if they lose that then the naysayers will be out in full force either way.
One game at a time. History has absolutely nothing to do with game 5.

Constructive in terms of adding some insightful comments to the discussion about the team. You rarely do.
As for the bolded, I don't believe you. If it does happen, I doubt we'll be hearing from you.
