St Louis.
I think we can match up with that style better than Colorado

I was hopeful of this. Dominant regular season team against recent Cup winners

Didn’t think Vegas could beat the Avs. Didn’t think the Habs could beat Vegas. Things happen.

It doesn’t get talked about enough, how the true end of the Blackhawks dynasty was when they traded Panarin for Saad.

Probably part of the job description. Kevin Quinn probably quit because he couldn't even kiss that much Oiler ass.

I think the only teams that can beat the Flames are ones who are big and have scoring depth, and these two have that.

Binington going into god mode makes STL very dangerous.
And yet, I feel like the Flames have less demons on the Blues than they do the Avs. There's a little more between the ears stuff when it comes to those blue and maroon monsters.
Might not be the worst thing if they pulled it off.

I totally agree with you on this series possibly having the best hockey this round, but as far as hype goes, I don't know if there has ever been a more anticipated series than the flames and oilers.
Obvious bias from me but the only series I can think of with similar bad blood would be the Pittsburgh Washington series where the caps won the cup.

Binnington was putrid during the regular season and is probably going to come down to Earth at some point. He is a lot like Smith actually and is wildly inconsistent and a hot head.

Of course. They are both good teams and legitimate cup contenders. Other than Edmonton there are not any weak teams left. Maybe New York but they have a goalie. Either St Louis or Colorado could beat Calgary or Edmonton and anyone from the East. I think Calgary can beat either the Avs or the Blues but it would not be easy.
