Not to take anything away from the goaltending but the Flames are doing a good job not being able to finish on their chances... Lots of open spots in the net and we shoot it into the chest, or shoot wide, tonight was an example of that. Even though we had a successful season in terms of finishing ability, it wasn't too long ago where this was a concern for this team. Combine that with certain key players that were counted on to score goals being MIA, its concerning. You can't keep hoping to win a game 2-1 or 1-0... You have to be able to score more than 2 goals. The boys got one game to figure it out, I sure hope they do.

iTkachuck has went from 10 to 9 to under his qualifing offer this series. Hes been the biggest no show.
I dont care put me on a WoS hes been a no show except a few secondary assists.

What a pathetic effort in the 3rd. So disappointed they need 7 games to maybe beat Dallas. The entire team should be embarrassed. Especially Tkachuk.

Stars were not the better team. They might have seemed like it because they played their best game of the series. But the Flames still played better. The Stars are just getting the vast majority of the breaks right now. I'd be interested in seeing the offensive zone time and shot attempts stats.

Rookie tendies/ unsung tendies with great other league stats always light up the playoffs. Makes me think we should have thrown in wolfie lol.
Oettinger has been great, the obvious difference maker for the stars.
I don't think Markstrom needs to beat him for the flames to win the series. That's asking a lot. Markstrom needs to not let in any goals like the 1st of this game, and the flames secondary scoring (Toffoli, Mangi, Coleman, Dube, Lucic, Jarnkrok) needs to chip in at least 1 goal. If that happens we will win.

Tkachuk played stupid game and won stupid prize. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has a broken hand . Otherwise he is the biggest choker in Flames history and there have been plenty
