The two situations aren’t even remotely similar so this is an utterly ridiculous comparison. What is being discussed is a businessman and hockey owner who apparently wielded his power in negative ways. The topic of whether his behaviour should be brought into the open at this point after his death of NATURAL CAUSES is the question.

Bringing up your narrative about a person who was KILLED by police officers brings absolutely nothing to this discussion. It’s just a pot-shot about a completely different topic and different agenda you have.

Just read the Athletic article and it was fascinating and infuriating at the same time. I 100% disagree with the notion of burying the story out of “respect” for the dead. It sounds like undoing Melnyk’s antics and legacy will be a major challenge for the franchise, and that makes the story timely and relevant. So many questions for this team going forward.
