They are definitely having some down times right now. If the Flames are looking to upgrade I wonder if they could package Monahan and Dube and get someone like Trochek from Carolina, UFA at the end of the year. Or see if Seattle would take Monahan and Dube for Johannsen, also a UFA at seasons end. Would solve the problem Monahan seems to be having now and Dube could be the enticement.

These would only work if the two teams were believing that they couldn't resign their players and want to get something for them.

That comment hurt me more than a total appearance of 3 games should. That unforced blind breakout pass up the middle is burned as one of the worst defensive decisions I’ve seen in the NGL.
